Step Into My Steves

Happy Thanksgiving! Today is my first Thanksgiving (or holiday in general) away from home without my family. Though I do miss them, I am so grateful to be able to explore the world outside my door. Today I woke up in California, next to the love of my life, and am fortunate enough to have a roof over my head, foot to eat, and people to love.

Living out here with Tylar, my brother, and our friend Tim is truly incredible. The opportunities this move has given me is still hard for me to wrap my head around. I've landed a job where people support me, I've been to events where people understand me, and I've gotten to explore so many beautiful places. Because of that, I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite adventures!

Victoria Beach, Laguna Beach

Victoria Beach has been by far the prettiest beach I've seen so far. It reminds me of a European coast, the sunset is incredible, and it's secluded so it's a quiet and romantic place to go.

Venice Beach

Venice Beach is so cute. From this little street full of brunch spots to Abbott Kinney, there are tons of photo ops, delicious restaurants, and adorable places to hang out!

Cabazon Dinosaurs, Palm Desert

The Cabazon Dinosaurs may be the most random thing in America, but I'm not mad about it. Next to these monstrous Dino statues is a little park that's great for kids, or honestly just stretching your feet if you've been road tripping to Palm Springs. Not to mention, it's surprisingly a really great photo op!

Moorten Botanical Garden, Palm Springs

This little gem is one of the cutest places in the world. It has succulents from all over and it has the first succulent greenhouse in America! It's $5 to get in, but don't let them see your camera if you're shooting! There's a 'photoshoot fee' for $25 so be sneaky. ;)

Downtown Laguna Beach

On top of being the prettiest beach I've been to so far, Laguna has a TON to do! Whether you're looking for food, coffee, bars, photo ops, or just a cool place to walk around, downtown Laguna is the perfect destination!

As you can see, I'm trying my best to explore California. I've been to blessed to be able to adventure all over America this year, from trips to New York to a nearly 3,000 mile road trip across the county. Step into my Steve's to see where I've been.

So obsessed with my new Madden Girl snake skin booties! They're super comfortable and versatile for any day or night occasion. Also, if you liked the song in this video, check out EZI and see her on tour: http://eziofficial.com/
