Halloween is just around the corner, which means last minute costumes are of the utmost importance. If you're looking for a getup that's easy and affordable, Nasty Gal's Halloween shop is your one-stop-shop for the costume of your dreams. In the spirit of spooky season, I decided to put together a few head-to-toe Nasty Galloween outfits to inspire your last minute look.
Ziggy Stardust: Look 1
"I'm an instant star. Just add water and stir."
Bowie is a legend, and his starry persona is one of the most easily recognizable costumes. Ziggy Stardust is as simple as drawing a red lightning bolt across your face, but if you want to go even further, this outfit is the perfect combo. I used stars, stripes, and metallics to bring out the vibe of Bowie's glam alter ego.
Faux Leather Jacket
Ziggy Stardust: Look 2
"I find only freedom in the realms of eccentricity." - David Bowie
Though you can mix and match pieces from each outfit to achieve the perfect Ziggy Stardust look, this is a great second option. The green leopard jacket complements the colors from the makeup and on top of that, the metallic shirt really makes the outfit pop. Either look is sure to turn heads.
Rah rah ah-ah-ah, ro mah ro-mah-mah! GaGa has gone from a pop sensation with outlandish fashion to a role model for people around the world. No matter if you've seen her Netflix documentary, her acting in American Horror Story, or her raw talent in A Star Is Born, her look is iconic nevertheless. For this fit, I took black eyeliner to draw a lightning bolt across my eye and threw on a blonde wig to complete the look.
Inspiration for this costume came from the image below, found here
Halloween isn't for everyone. I spent my entire childhood hating it because I didn't want to dress up. College changed my perspective a little bit, but if you're still not into completely altering your persona for the night, this look is for you. All you have to do to get in the spirit is wear a spooky shirt and the perfect pair of pumpkin spice pants.
I''m a Leopard, Duh
If your goal is to have a costume with pieces you can wear again casually, this is the look for you. I'm obsessed with leopard print, so I just threw a ton of different leopard pieces together to create a leopard costume. It may be cliche to be a cat on this haunted holiday, but there's nothing wrong with throwing on a pair of cat ears and looking fabulous.
